The price increase is since the last order guide (example - 2-door Sport MSRP went from $23,195 to $23,495). I don't know if any of the options changed in price or not.

I would hope that if you ordered already, your price not be affected.

Price Protection

Bona fide sold orders obtained by the dealer prior to (date of increase) will be price protected provided that:

Thanks Milous! If my dealer says i have to pay I will explain the procedure that Milous taught me.
I just gained $300 in value and its not even built yet! They said wranglers hold there value. I see why. By the end of the model year my jeep might be worth more than i paid for it! LOL

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

I've been following this thread and I haven't seen any mention of the 4.10 axle ratio option being removed from the automatic, right?

When I go to build an JKURHR on the website, switching to the automatic transmission forces a 3.73 ratio. When you select the 4.10 it forces you back to a manual trans. Am I missing something or is the build and price system just messed up online ?

Milous, I have a question that I am hoping you can explain to me.

When you order a wrangler it comes with a standard soft top. if you order the dual top option it drops the standard top and now includes the premium top. the black bear already comes with the premium top but yet the dual top option is the same price as a sport.

feel like I am paying for something twice.

Don't select from the powertrain page, go to the add options page, click on exterior next to Options, then select Add 4.10 Axle Ratio.

To elaborate, with a manual, on the Rubicon, the 4.10 ratio is standard. With the automatic, it changes it to a standard of a 3.73 with the 4.10 being an extra cost option. I do just fine in our TJ Rubicon with a manual and its 4.10s and less powerful engine, so it pained me to choose both the auto and then have to pay more to restore the gears to 4.10, but everybody swears the auto is better offroad these days.
