That's expected with Chevy. My brand new 2000 Blazer was the biggest pile of crap I have ever owned.

I've seen cars with wrong trim parts on it, sure. But if his jeep was built as is a completely different model is a problem with the paperwork.

We got to the school early just so I could go peek. Not there. The kids got out and there was a huge traffic jam. Seems a car carrier truck was just parked in the NB lane of the road the school lets out onto. We circled the block so I could snap the two pics as we drove by again. Didn't see them drive it off or anything and the boneheads couldn't get it prepped and documented and all that jazz tonight, so they'll call me in the AM when I can come say "no" to all the extra BS and write my check. Pretty cool seeing the Jeep on the truck until you realize we'll probably not even own it a year (if the purple comes out, that'll be the one we'll own for the rest of our lives I bet).

Has anyone here participated in the Houston, Texas group buy? If so, how did it work out for you?

The purple is a sure thing why not just not pick it up? Just cause you ordered it doesn't mean u have to.

Same over at Ford. In hanging around Mustang websites/forums, you'll find the same kind of stories over and over again.

Mustangs getting all the way into the hands of customers, with the trim/wheels/tires on the left side not matching what's on the right side. Front seat upholstery/color not matching the rear seat. Even worse, the left side bucket upholstery/color not matching the right side bucket.

My friend's Voyager came thru with the Caravan's front end/grill. He had quite a fight to get that fixed (Chrysler insisted that while wrong, it wasn't actual broken).

So, is anyone one driving or has anyone seen a live 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited yet? Mine is still sitting in Lovely, Newark NJ. Waiting to be trucked to the dealer. (Sport Unlimited, Max Tow, soft top, Hydra Blue)

Are you sure its still sitting in NJ?

Jeep customer service was telling me that my Wrangler was waiting for shipment in Toledo, the day I drove it home from the dealership.
