According to the 9/1 order guide, CJ1 "SUPPLEMENTAL FRT SEAT SIDE AIR BAGS" is not in the column under the non-W Willys, nor the base Sport (neither 2 or 4 door). I'm just reading and trying to help. It could simply be a typo in the order guide.

That web site is misleading / incorrect in other places too. It lets you order the Max Tow Pkg (AHQ) or a regular Tow Pkg (AHT) for a Willys. The only difference is the 3.73 drive ratio, which comes with Willys anyway. Now I would suspect that FCA is willing to take all the money we want to throw at them, but...

Are the side bags listed under the W Willys?

On the Rubicons, you can only select the Max Tow Pkg, even though you already have 3.73 (or better) differentials. IMHO, a double charge, but as you said, FCA is making money off of it.

On my build sheet it states build priority: 01. Any idea what this means? The previous build sheet before actually ordering was 99

-> Yes, the "CJ1" side air bags are an option for Willys W, both 2 and 4 door.

-> That makes me curious too! I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a Willys W.

On a Willys, Max Tow AHQ is $495 whereas Tow AHT is $395. But Willys has the 3.73 already, so what's the REAL difference in packages??? Apparently just an extra $100.

EDIT:
Trailer Tow Group — Includes Class II receiver hitch, 4-pin adapter, Trailer Sway
Control and 3.21:1 axle ratio (not available on RHD models)
Max Tow Package — Includes Class II receiver hitch, 4-pin adapter, Trailer Sway
Control and 3.73 axle ratio (or 4.10 if so equipped for Rubicon)
Source: https://www.jeep.com/assets/pdf/wrangler_specs.pdf - 2014 Wrangler Buyer's Guide

Trailer Tow Group - $395
Trailer towing preparation II; Trailer Tow with 4-Pin Connector Wiring
Max Tow Package - $845
3.730:1 axle ratio; Trailer towing preparation includes: trailer hitch II; Trailer tow w/4-pin connector wiring
http://www.motortrend.com/cars/2015/...pecifications/
:EDIT

Willys and Rubicon let you add the Max Tow Pkg for msrp $495; Tow AHT is not available on Rubicon (but it is on Willys - typo?). For models like the Sport or Sahara, you can get the Max Tow for $845 list or a regular Tow Pkg $395 + 3.73 ratio $695. So the bundle is a better deal for those other models.

I am looking at a Hard Rock at a dealer near me. He says that he does not have any more room at 43313 on jeep that has an MSRP of 45770. I find that hard to believe since the 16's are coming out. Any input?

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

This may be a dumb question, but on the max tow package for 2015 it indicates front and rear 3.73 gears. The 2016 only indicates Rear, i assume the front as well.

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Just want to remind anybody that orders/gets dual top group to pay attention to the "take off/out one of the tops" part. We had 23 miles on ours and there was already some white flake/powder from the inside of the hard top on the cover wrapped around our soft top when we took it out. They're serious about not having both on at the same time.

Cheers!

The dealer, like most businesses, is there to make a profit. I would say that the dealer feels that 5% off sticker is lowest they feel comfortable at selling. If you're not comfortable at paying that, walk away.

The discount is to pay '15 prices instead of '16 prices. For Wranglers, that marketing strategy seems to work for them.

PS: I would make them an offer that's 7% off of sticker.

I like it if that is accurate...but not as much as my Anvil!
