Reason I ask is I am supposed to meet with my dealer once they get full order capabilities for 2016 JKUHRs. Right now claim only limited options. Anyways, this one just came in Friday night and not yet spoken for but only option doesn't have on my "must have" is the factory remote start. I've had issues with aftermarkets so really wanted it included. Questioning if worth trading in my 2012 JKU Altitude now for this or hold out for a special order and get that months out. Really wasn't a fan of Hydro Blue but seeing it in person and the colors availible in this thread thinking might be the final choice anyways.
Any insight is much appreciated.
The dealership should be able to install that remote start option, it would be the same factory parts and it probably plugs into the current wiring harness somewhere. You would also have factory warranty on the parts and installation as well. Talk to the dealership about it first. Lastly, you might get a better deal on this Jeep because it is sitting on their lot and they would want to move it before the month ends.
If you're still hesitating and can wait a month or so, I think you'd be happiest ordering it exactly to your specifications right from the factory. If you don't want or need to keep your 2012, use it as trade-bait. Wranglers have high resale value. Just my 2 cents...
