Got a call from the dealership late this morning, stating that the Hard Rock that we had ordered, came in this morning. Due to the fact that I am 125+ miles away I had asked him to take couple of pictures and e-mail them to me when he got a chance.
Everything look good and I was very excited !!
Until the next phone !
The salesman called to apologize for the delay of the pictures. The reason for the delay was because when he went to snap the pictures he realized it was not the correct vehicle.
After some investigation, he found that the vehicle did not match the invoice. It had my name on it along with all the correct options listed including the Hard Rock Pkg., but it is just a Rubicon and NOT a "Hard Rock".
At his point.
They are trying to find one in transit (that well match what I had ordered) and do a dealer exchange.
Here is the bad news !!!
Will have to re-order it.
!@#$ we placed the order back on July 22nd.
End of rant...........back to drinking more BEER
Salesman just called.....stated that the screw up is on Jeeps end of the deal
and that he has been in touch with his direct rep. and that they are looking into possibly being able to fast forward an order for me, But , I'm still looking at another 2-3 weeks.
