re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

So I was poking around on the newly updated Jeep site and looking at the options. I noticed that the 115V and 12V Auxiliary Power Outlet is standard Rubicon but not even an option on the Rubicon Hard Rock. Really??? That seems a bit odd to me. Got to be an over site, right?

For the rest, we got it all but I had to remind the salesperson he owed me the trail kit (snatch strap, D-rings, gloves, and bag for storage).

I do know on Unlimited models you get front and rear all-weather mats, but you only get the front ones on a two-door.

That has to be a mistake. I'm pretty sure the HRs have them.

Yes.

Its definitely comes with the Hard Rock, and thus not an option.

We need to be a bit forgiving. The 5 yo that maintains the Jeep website probably didn't have their nap.

Correct. And that 5 minute window ended about 55 minutes ago. You didn't miss it, did you?

FWIW, looking in the order guide, the list of standard equipment for the Rubicon includes the 115V, so even without your confirmation, I would have interpreted that to mean that it's in the Hard Rock as well.

Apparently XP is available on Saharas. My dealer just built one in the system (by mistake) but was unable to on a Rubicon

The order guide says it's supposed to be only available on the Back Country edition.

The system let him build a Sahara with it so maybe there's a screw up in there. I guess if you want an XP Sahara, hurry before they fix it.

Maybe, or the order would get kicked out as an invalid configuration somewhere along the way. Worth a shot though I think if someone wants to give it a try.

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Long time lurker, first time poster. Just wanted to put out a thanks to all my fellow Jeep geeks (thought I was the only one, but you guys with the purple color, Jeesh). After long and careful research I was finally able to place my order for a GC JKU Willys. And at a price about 4% under invoice and without going through an affiliate. I researched with Truecar, Edmunds, you name it. And by far the most valuable source of info has been this forum.
Special thanks to Milous and Archer. You guys rock!
