2 dr. manual, with tinted soft top windows. On the 23W package for manual drive, the sticker 2016 shows deep tint windows included. Trying to find out just what's included on the 23K package. That would show me what I need to know. The 23K pacakge which is have on my quote is $2100 less.

According to this site, neither pacakge comes with deep tint. The only difference between the two packages is air conditioning. For a $2100 difference?!! 2016 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Price With Options: Build and Price this vehicle and get MSRP, Invoice Price, and Free Dealer Price Quotes - The Car Connection

There's also a Willys 23K option package for $4300.
This '16 sticker shows the "deep tint windows" on the 24W. http://www.chrysler.com/hostd/window...AJWAG6GL103125 $6400. Trying to find if available for 23K. .
Disregard the above post, I see you mentioned adding A/C to the "K" package, which means you're looking at JK's.

Upgrading from the base Willys "K" to the "W" package only adds A/C on the JK. And as you've noticed, the price increase is $800 greater than simply adding A/C to the "K."

Jeep's justification for that $800 premium is the "W" package grants you access to other options that are not available on the base "K" (Supplemental Front Seat Side Airbags, Power Convenience Group, Tubular Side Steps, and Dual Top Group), so you have to "pay to play," as they say. This type of price premium can be found just about every time you move up in model.

Concerning the Deep Tint Sunscreen Windows. What you see on the window sticker you linked is a listing of all that's included in the Willys package. Deep Tint Sunscreen Windows (GCD) is a $495 stand-alone option for some models, but it's included in the Willys package (and price), as it is on most Limited Editions. It's automatically added when you choose a Willys. You'll notice that there is a package price of $5,500 listed, then below that, indented, is the listing of all the features included for that price. The additional options of Trailer Tow Group and Premium Black Sunrider Soft Top are not included in the Willys package, so they have their respective prices listed next to them.

Although it contains a few occasional errors, if you do the Compare Models under Shopping Tools on Jeep.com (make sure you select "Detailed Specs"), you can see the differences between model options and their standard equipment.

Thank you. That's really confusing to me, because the carconnection didn't list deep tint on either package and thought maybe they changed it for '16. Then I saw the Willys jeep with clear windows and it just really confused things. As long as deep tint is on the 23K package I'm good. I really don't want power windows or dual top. I'll shut up now, and thank you so much for sorting it out!!

The base Willys Wheeler is the "K" package.
The Willys Wheeler W is the "W" package.

Just as the base Sport is the "B" package; and the Sport S is the "S" package.

The letters represent quick order packages.
The numbers 23/24 are for manual/automatic transmission.

So, 23K is a manual Willys Wheeler.
24W is an automatic Willys Wheeler W.

I'm not familiar with The Car Connection website, but I wouldn't trust it to be 100% accurate. Part of the problem is that Jeep frequently releases information (even on their own website) that either changes and isn't updated, or is flat out incorrect (and doesn't get remedied).

Speaking of which, I just doublechecked the Model Compare section I was referring you to (it's under Exterior -> Convenience Features). You'll notice that it lists Deep Tint Sunscreen Windows as standard on the base Willys, but not on the Willys Wheeler W. That most certainly is an error, and since the Willys has been out for three years now, it's insulting that Jeep hasn't fixed it. You also see Tinted Rear Quarter and Liftgate Windows listed as optional for the K and not available for the W. I don't even know what the hell that means, but it's gotta be wrong.

Honestly, Jeep makes it extremely difficult to consistently give out accurate information to folks, particularly on models I haven't researched. Things change quickly and without notice, so referring to the most recent order guide is the best place for answers (though I won't pretend to understand all of the algebra and acronyms on that thing!).

Just thought I'd throw this out there... looking forward to seeing the Tan premium top that will be offered on the Freedom Edition. What are the chances that it will be offered with the Dual Top option? Also, there were rumors awhile back about a tan hard top... but I'm not putting any money on that one.
