Good to hear. Was afraid it was going to be a 4 cyl. I just ordered my 16 RHR so I'd have something that will hold me until all of the bugs are worked out of the JL.

Any guesses on if itll be offered with a manual trans or is it likely it would only be paired with auto?

Not sure about the manual at this time. Auto will be the new 2nd generation ZF 8-speed.

The Back Country model has diesel gray interior accents. That's about as close you'll get to diesel anything.

Hopefully the new wrangler in 2018 sticks with a hard top, soft top, rollbar design similar to what we have now. I'm hoping they don't take the wrangler down the same path the renegade is on which just has removable roof panels.

Lmao!

I actually used that picture as an example for my custom windshield shade!

Wouldn't it be awesome if the 75th was all retro like that?

It's already been widely reported that the "traditional soft top is gone" for the JL. It sounds like there's going to be a different structure with removable panels.

Thanks K1500, yup I read that article recently... I noticed the info came from Allpar so I took it with a grain of salt. Just hoping clearer minds prevail on this one.

Yeah I think with the tan top and a color called Sarge Green it's probably going to be pretty darn cool.
