The new freedoms, along with a few XP Back Country's are starting to come down the line.

Quick question, does the HRR JKU ride a little smoother less knobby/vibrating type feeling on pavement with the popular on road/off road Duratracs vs. the off road stock BF Goodrich tires? Seems like it would be a smoother ride with the less aggressive tread on the Duratracs?

I too am wondering. After trading in the BFGs at the dealer I can get a set of 5 for $280. Just thinking that living in Iowa I would like a more "weather approved" tire as I will be taking delivery probably in December.

I've got almost 30000 miles on my DuraTracs and have had zero issues in any weather condition... They are significantly quieter than the stock and ride much smother.

I got a set of Goodyear SR-A's take-offs, and use them as my summer/highway tires. Much, much smoother and quieter than the Goodrich tires.

Look quick. I expect any XP Back Country's to be just a blur, passing thru the dealer's hands.

2016 Wrangler Information Thread

I wonder if our local dealer or perhaps Mavis Tire here on Long Island would consider a similar tire trade on brand new stock BF Goodrich with only 60 miles clocked in thus far on our new HRRJKU in exchange for the Duratracs. Or where can we sell these on our own should we decide to go this route?
