Yes, they are nicer but they are not options that I would have wanted. Same with the heated leather seats that come with the Backcountry - not something I would have added as I have no interest in those options. I do like the bumper though.

I can't believe that this post by Archer passed by without discussion. How do you order the Back Country with a black top?!

Possibly, that's just it? Don't attempt to order anything, and the black top comes along because it is standard. Though, I think you're stuck with the body colored fenders; its a Sahara don't forget.

Has anyone tried, in the past day? Possibly the initial ordering system bug has been fixed?

If you throw a black top and black fenders on it things would look better. Can you just order it with no decal?

Decals are easy to remove. I replaced all of mine with custom stuff. Generally, if you get a corner started and peel back on itself, it'll come off in 1 piece and leave very little residue (peel slowly).

Sorry AA...but I did use your expert installs as reference lines for the new ones.

Black top is standard on the BC which is why it is not orderable as an option ... Matching top is an option. Fender Flares are Body Color due to it being built based on Sahara.

I assume #1 is due to the leisurely pace at which Jeep updates their website. However, #2 sounds like BS. I called the affiliate help line and they said there is no such restriction.

Any advise would be appreciated.

I got much lower than FFP, so that's BS.

They're really just trying to tell you to go somewhere else. I'd oblige them and hoof it to somewhere more reasonable.

Thanks for the info. That confirms my suspicions. We have several dealers so I will move one to the next one.

I understand that the Jeep factory shuts down for 2 weeks around Christmas. Is that correct and does anyone know the dates? Does progress on all Jeeps being built during that time come to a halt until after the break?

I wish I could post pictures, but if you go to (jeep forum) and look at "Just another rhino thread." There is a picture of a jeep that looks like it could be the rhino color Jeep. If true, It looks really good! I am not sure that it is, but it does look close to the color palettes on the Jeep official site.

The factory traditionally closes from December 24th through January 2nd. However, demand has been so high for wranglers that they have worked all but Christmas and new years eve the past couple years.
