I think Sarge Green is a new color, but the evidence seems to point toward a lighter olive drab in the vein of Rescue, Commando, and the "Sarge" concepts:

Rescue Green:

Commando:

"Sarge"

I hope (but don't think we will be so lucky) that it's similar to that last one, the flat G.I. Joe green. That's a great Jeep color imho.

Yeah, that flat green in a matte finish would be bad ass!

Currently, Sarge Green (like Xtreme Purple), is only listed under the Sahara.

Replaced the chrome accents with "Black Chrome", because there is no way piano black accents get scuffed up in a Jeep.

Not hating on the purple, think it would look pretty tough on a HR with black fenders and black hard top. They pushed this Back Country a little to close to the Dragon Zone for me.

It would be awesome on a Hard Rock! Just look at where the purple meets the black interior. Perfection in my eyes. That piano black stuff would be repainted by me anyway. Please oh please let it come on an HR!

Is anyone seeing the paint around hinges issues or the low transmission fluid upon delivery issues on their 2016 models that some have commented upon in the past or are those issues rare?

I'm curious about this too and how common the issue is. My Hard Rock is waiting for me to go home for Christmas to pick it up. Hopefully it doesn't have any issues.

Mid-2015MY they started putting these between the body and hinge to try and eliminate the galvanic corrosion issue (though I'd replace your factory steel hinge bushings with Delrin liners):

Missing paint by hinge? - Jeep Wrangler Forum

As to the manual transmission fill level, I suspect they're pre-filled by the trans manufacturer in Germany, in which case it's out of Jeep's hands. I could be wrong, though; they might be robot-filled before or during assembly, or done "by hand" by a line worker?

2016 Owner's Manual says:
Quote:
Fluid Level Check
Check the fluid level by removing the fill plug. The fluid
level should be between the bottom of the fill hole and a
point not more than 3/16 in (4.76 mm) below the bottom
of the hole.
The dealer should check all fluid levels during the Pre-Delivery Inspection, but I suspect many don't.

I think it's safe to say the NSG370 performs better when completely filled (some people even jack up the fill-hole side of the Jeep to get an extra few ounces in there).

If you're concerned about it, I'd mention it specifically to the dealer to have the trans fluid level completely full before taking delivery. Or, drive it for a few hundred (or thousand) miles, then drain and fill it yourself; and I'd recommend putting some synthetic in there, especially if you live somewhere cold.
