The transmissions use to be topped off by a worker, namely me, before the job was eliminated. The transmissions are now filled by the supplier before being shipped to the plant. AFAIK they are not physically checked for fluid anywhere in the plant. Although, I'd expect a low fluid condition would show up in rolls. (Rolls is a dyno that every jeep goes on before shipping)

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Newbie type question: My new Unlimited Sport will be here soon. I want trade out the tires from the Sport (Highway tread) to a more agressive All-terrain tire for the 5% that I ride on the Jeep trails in SW Colorado. I want to keep stock sizing. Is there any reason that the tire that comes on the Rubicon (Bridgestone Mud Terrain KM2) can be mounted on the Sport wheels. They are the same 255/75/R17 sizing. That would keep me from having to also buy new tires.

I was wondering if Xtreme Purple Pearl is the same color that they have used on another Chrysler product or is it a Wrangler color only? I have read part of this thread but it is so huge I may have missed it. Thanks

The Rubicon comes with BFG KMs, the only Rubicon with stock KM2s was the 10th anniversary(265/70r17).

To you question. I think the 255s would fit, they are not that much bigger than the tires that come in the sport.

Same as Plum Crazy used recently on the Dodge Challenger and Charger.

FYI, Rubicons from 2007 to 2012 used the same aluminum wheels as those on current Sport models so you should be fine.
