In recent years the only recurring SEs have been Willys, Freedom Edition, Altitude. The "winter" type edition changes name each year (i.e. Arctic, X, Back Country).

Please, please, please, can someone sneak a real picture?
There is a partial shot of a Mojave Sand colored Rubicon in the brochure. I've seen it on a bunch of Renegades for the past six months now.

The brochure pic isn't real. Archer said the very first mojave sand test wranglers just went through the line early this week.

I've posted Renegade pics in sand color and even gone to see them in person. It still requires squinting of the eye to imagine that color on a wrangler with black top and flares.

It is amazing just how different the exact same color can appear, on different style vehicles.

It was years ago, I actually drove to another state to see the vehicle I wanted, in the color I wanted. True, the vehicle I drove to see, didn't have any of the options I wanted, but it did allow me to get a first hand, personal, view.

[QUOTE=geoffmarton;1247492]Where are you? Lots of BBs around me.

I live by Tampa, FL. I have searched the whole country with my dealership and on Jeep.com too find one opted like I want. None. There is a lot of Black Bears out there but none opted the way I want. Was going to order because of that.

I doubt the BB is permanently done. Probably just on restriction (restriction can be because of parts avail or to give line time to catch up on other models) or dealer is out of allocation. If it is on restriction they should be able to tell you that. If they are reluctant it is probably because they are out of allocation and want to steer you to something that doesn't match what you want.

Curiously enough, the Black Bear is gone from the 12/2 order guide, so it's possibly missing from the dealer ordering system, as well. Seems strange, but Jeep loves to do strange. Maybe they want to keep it "rare"; or it might return next allocation...who knows? Could be they don't want too many Limited Editions out at one time, so maybe the 75th Anniversary next month will have another LE to keep it company late winter or spring?

I'm in JAX. There were quite a few here when I was looking for my Willys (I ended up ordering - nobody seems to carry them). I even test drove one.

Wow that was quick but not too surprising with some of the crazy stuff they do. The darn thing is gone before the marketing materials even hit.

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

I'm in the market for a new Jeep and wanted to see if anyone has seen "Rhino" color. In the 2016 Wrangler catalog it looks like a bluish gray but when building on Jeeps site it looks more like the Anvil color. Any help would be appreciated!
