Take it or leave it and put up with ALL the price increases, notice how they are nickel and dimeing all the options here and there and everybody is taking it...right up the wazoo.
$$$ cha-ching for them.
We were going to purchase another and took another look at it and for less money we did purchase a new Silverado at a super sale and really did get so much more vehicle for the money. We are NOT offroading with this one but the thing is soooo much nicer than our 2016 Rubicon in every other way.
I'm tired of the jeep games..very frustrated here and are tired of being caught up in the jeep game for to long.
Remember with the new jeep coming in 2017 today's is going to be yesterday's news and they could care less, laughing all the way to the bank.
We'll wait a couple years and pick up a 17 or 18 at a good deal, look at how many used jeep wranglers are out there for sale now!! If I look this moment there are still some for sale that have been for sale forever!

Sorry.
Lol... I'll be thinking of you in that big ol' boring Silverado as I'm cruising along with the top and doors off... you may be laughing all the way to the bank, but we're laughing because we're actually having fun. Fun in a vehicle we actually WANT.... not a vehicle we bought just to save a few bucks because our spouse said so.
See ya on the Silverado forum. Oh, and be sure to keep an eye on that there trucks resale value, ya hear?

While I would never trade my wrangler for a silverado, or any other truck, he does have a point about options being increased at a ridiculous rate.

TDDO is way better than a cush ride in a grandma truck

I want both, but I'm looking at GMC Denalis for the truck. The RHR is pretty nice, but I need more space and want even more luxury in our next purchase and am finding it harder and harder to like cars these days. Anybody want to buy a nice GTO?

I do agree that Jeep is complacent in being able to sell every Wrangler they make with little effort. Thanks to this, look forward to next year's new color doo-doo brown.

The options are actually cheap when you compare them to say BMW or other luxury models. There, you want keyless entry? you have to get the premium package for $2500 which also has leather. Want to upgrade the headlights, that will be the Lighting package for $900. Etc...
With the exception of the "Chevy" you get the options you want. Want bare bones with no power windows? they don't force you to get power seats too.

UMMM, We have 2 Wranglers at the moment, was looking at a "turd"...LOL!

And by the way the truck has a way better engine, interior, far superior ride and we need it to work unlike our weakling Jeeps..we pull 4 horse horse trailors and a boat. Our Wranglers dont hold a candle to it.
They are both purpose vehicles.

Apples to oranges. Doesn't make sense to compare the two.

Yes, I have them. Recon makes them, exact ones. Not an easy job. Capacitors, etc but they look excellent.
