So maybe the reason they discontinued Tank was to push more buyers looking for a unique color to up their purchases to the Anniversary/Sahara price level?

I've seen Renegades in Mojave Sand and it's pretty weak.
I wonder how much it would cost to have the JK repainted?

It looks fine on the paint sample chart and in the lighting you show (thanks for the picture!) but we've all seen the Mojave Sand Renegades in bright sunlight and that color gets kinda pale. The paint code is the same - PTA.

I had a buddy who owns a used Jeep shop try to talk me into dyed bedliner to change the color. I wasn't ready for that commitment, but I've seen a few on his lot, and they look unique and sharp. He does the whole exterior in whatever color a customer wants. I believe he's ~$2000. I think. Includes doing the flares in black.

When I posted, there was hardly any discussion on that thread. Even now, I'm surprised how little discussion there is on the idea of a Wrangler truck, especially judging by the amount of discussion a simple paint colour will initiate.

Hey Deep... I think you're not seeing much discussion re a Wrangler truck because they've been dangling that carrot in front of us for many, many years now. I guess most are thinking theyll believe it when they see it.... myself included. Would it be cool? Hell yeah. If they call it the Wrangler Scrambler?... even cooler.

They officially announced it as a vehicle in the next generation. This make sense because the new design probably includes a new lighter weight frame that is more modular... thus easy to stretch from the 2 door, 4 door, and then pickup truck.

Yep, either cream soda or root beer float is what it reminds me of. A&W anyone?

Edit: after I read your post again this morning, I realized you may have said that because it's all desert...either way it still looks like a drink mixed with ice cream to me.
