I'm starting to think the BB edition has replaced the Freedom edition... if not, there sure are alot of models available for 2016 and thats not counting the 75th anniversary model coming in the spring.

I don't know if he was pulling our collective leg or not, but you saw what Archer hinted at a few days ago:

Six or 7 new buzz models, two of which are getting Hard Rock bumpers. One of the new buzz models is called "Back Country".

All those "buzz models" might not be for the US market, but it sounds like we haven't seen all the offerings yet.

I don't think they'll get rid of the Freedom Edition.

For a Rubicon Hard Rock order with no extra options chosen when ordering, what would be all the things the dealer is responsible for in terms of installing on the vehicle or providing the customer (i.e. tow strap kit, slush mats, etc.)?

I hope they don't, I have looked to see if i could find a 2015 but there are not a lot of them out there, zero with the options im looking for . Not sure as to why dealers didnt order many? Star on hood? Can find Rubi's everywhere.

Anyone know if the group buy with Koons Jeep will be reinstated and if not, is there a new group buy in the works for the Northeast area?

I think the Koons guy just showed up on WranglerForum.com ... and will likely get booted for the same reason he was ousted here.

I don't know any specifics, but I assume that whomever was doing the group buys on here somehow violated the terms of service for what is allowed for such deals.

Just a few days ago, an Administrator posted that one of the group buy deals was in violation, so it was no longer being offered.

This sticky showed up outlining group buy rules shortly after that:

http://www.jeepgarage.org/f61/group-...les-88973.html

Wrangler Forum has similar rules where forum members cannot sell things without becoming Supporting Vendors on the site.

That's about all I know.

Mine is a 2015 that I got the end of August 2014 - early production. I had to go back and get the tow strap kit ($200 in a catalog), but there was no problem. The other thing that they did remember was the tool kit for taking off the doors and roof. The slush mats also include the one in the back. If you have the hard top it should have the bag for the roof panels. Can't think of anything else. Enjoy.

Lol... hope he's not pulling our legs, that would be cruel, so cruel.
Archer seems to be in the know so let's hope this comes to be true. Those Hard Rock bumpers are killer... along with the hood!
