$750 for just the tires or the wheels and tires!? I know around my area, I've seen Willy's and Rubicon take offs selling for almost $2000 on CL. I guess if you're happy with the situation than all is well.

Love the Purple Haze Jeep too, looks great!!

I found a picture before I changed them out - this is how it came.

$750 for the wheels & tires. I asked them if they could get anything for them in the next couple of days & if so to take it off my bill because I didn't want to mess with it. They found a taker for $700.00 plus tax. The last thing off our other Jeep that we wanted to sell has been sitting in the shed for the past 5 years because we never got around to selling it & we never even used it. I think the same would have happened with the wheels so just did it this way as it is better than sitting in the shed taking up space.

I want to sell the wheels, but not the tires. $750-$2000 is quite a range on CL for the set. How much do you think I can get just for the wheel, no tire, and no TPMS sensor? Basically the take-off black Moab wheel? Trying to justify black AEV Pintlers.

I'm working with a dealer and he told me Jeep just announced a 1.5% price increase coming soon. Anyone heard anything or just shady dealer tactics.

If that's the case, I will not get a 2016 and keep my 08' JKU. I does help that I have life time power train warranty. 😎

What size are the BFG KO2s in the photo? They came stock with the Willy's?

The photo is of a Backcountry - not sure what comes on the Willy's. The Backcountry came with LT265/70R 17C.

The Willys, Backcountry, Rubicon, and Rubicon Hard Rock all come with the same wheels, just painted different colors or finish. The Willys, Rubicon, and Hard Rock come with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM tires in LT255/75R17, and they are Load Range C.

foxhedge is correct about the Backcountry KO2's.

How quickly do you want to get rid of them? I am guessing $100 a wheel would be pretty good. More than that and people look to other options.

Do you want them? My Jeep should be here 2/8. I'll get the AEV wheels tonight.

The AEV Pintlers are not good if you actually intend to wheel your Jeep. The lip of the rim is very soft and sticks out past the sidewalls of most tires. They get rock rash extremely easy and mine actually had two rims get a chunk of the bead torn away from wheel and one almost punctured the sidewall.

They looked nice until silly me decided to use the Jeep for its intended purpose. They WILL NOT hold up to rock crawling.
I sold mine within 3 months of ownership.
