I'm not Pat or Milous, but I know that there are dealers selling for more than 1% under invoice, and they sell to Chrysler Affiliate members too.

Tim,

There are great directions for removing the hardtop. There are great directions for putting the softtop up and down. The directions for installing the softtop suck if you've never done it. Or if you don't have one to look at while you're installing it. Also, the soft top has not been stretched. So . . . nothing will fit correctly. It took 3 of us 4 hours to remove my hardtop, get the soft top out of the jeep and install it. (2013 unlimited). My daughter was watching inside the house laughing like never before. If you can, do it on a warm (80) day. so things stretch. a little. It took about 2 weeks for the softtop to stretch . Once you put it on, leave it on and don't open anything up except to make correction adjustments as it stretches.

Good luck,

Tom

So if I pre-order I have no idea what the price will be until the order banks open up? Is that like handing the dealer a blank check? I never pre-ordered any new car/truck/SUV. If I don't like the price can I pull the order and get the deposit back? Just trying to wrap my head around this..I want to buy one for my daughter but I want to deal with knowing prices first.

I figured i'd wait since Granite Chrystal isn't available anyway. Thnks.

Pricing is available already. If you send an email to Milous at WJJeeps@yahoo.com and ask for a Wrangler order guide. It has MSRP and FWP "invoice" numbers and all the codes for the options. It allows you to build a nice sheet to send to dealers to describe what you want. (ie: 24W package with option codes rbz, rc9, etc..)

It takes a little getting used to reading it but once you do it is very helpful. Each package has a code, 23=manual, 24=auto r=rubicon s=sport s, w=willys w, etc. if there is a code for the option below the package column the option is available on that model. A p means it is included in that package.

No problem. I hope to be right behind you. I want to see Rhino and then I will make the call between Rhino and Granite Crystal and order. Good luck.

Granite Crystal is her first pick, with Rhino being a possible second. She wants to see it too. Waiting on GC might be the deciding factor, and a reason for not pre-ordering.

Granted that you still need to purchase the connectivity group to get UConnect (and it also includes the EVIC stuff), but that's no different than it was in 2015.
This may have been why my 2014 perspective was a bit skewed, I ordered a Rubi X(HRR) which included the evic and the connectivity group so the difference in the 430N and 730N was definitely notable.

I in know way need to to order a 2016 but keep watching every year to see what the changes are and if there was something new I just couldn't pass up.

I wouldn't get the tow package for $495. You can get a hitch and wiring harness for less than $100.

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Mike i am going through Galeana in Ft Myers... I just moved down here from Ohio to the Cape so i am still getting all my bearings. I have been to one Caloosa Jeepers meeting and they are all a very nice group from whom i have met so far!!

With regards to the Hitch, if i go without the factory install how nice is the aftermarket setup? Is the harness still plug and play. I really do need the hitch as i tow my jet ski around frequently.

Thanks!!
