Thank you so much for the reply - Seajay,

Hey Tom... looks like JG covered your questions above. I could be wrong, but I've heard the Tow Package slows things down a bit?... your wrangler has to go to a different dept. for the installation procedure. But I'm not positive on this one... maybe a search can find some more info.
Btw... I reread my earlier answer and realized it might have sounded a bit gruff... wasn't meant that way. It's all coming from a guy that's been through the exact same agonizing, demoralizing, exasperating, mind numbing wait lol.

My information says the 430N (RHB) is additional (MSRP: $1195) for the Hard Rock.
The regular 430 (RBZ) is standard equipment for the Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock.

(The fact that ypu placed your order early doesnt mean much as Archer has stated) Your wait could also be substantially longer depending on your distance from Toledo and options selected such as Tow Group or custom leather, etc, etc. Keep in mind, your jeep could be pulled aside for "I" status meaning built but not ok'd, ending up in the inspection "no mans land." If that happens you're looking at who knows when? November?, December? There's something to be said for going to the dealership, test driving a jeep, giving it a good once over and buying it. Of course, for many this is not possible with the different gear ratios, etc a buyer may need or want.
So ordering a Wrangler takes patience. Calling your dealership every hour, hassling your sales person daily and staring at your computer screen endlessly does not speed things up... it just makes the time frame seem all that much longer. Heck, some here have said their dealership threw a random delivery date at them just to get them off their back.... Good luck.
Don't forget it's contract time. There's always the possibility of a strike.

If anyone's jeep winds up in I status, pm. I can usually get it moving again.

Is this accurate? I can't find anywhere that the 430, without nav, is standard on hard rock. Just the 130 radio

According to the order guide I looked at, the 130 is standard. But maybe that has changed...

Ahhh...I think you guys are right. I'm not always sure how to read some of the order guide info. I see at the bottom it does list the 130 as standard across the board. I guess I get confused by the way the order sheet lists the options. Maybe the regular 430 isn't even an option for the Sahara and Rubicon, only the 430N? Does that make sense?

Yeah looking on the website its not even available as an option. This sucks as all I want is the hard drive since I have a separate navigation unit. Once again...if Jeep would let us just order what we want. I can buy one aftermarket but been reading that it's very confusing to make sure you get the right model so you keep all the current features from the factory.
If anyone knows which serial models/numbers work...share the wealth!

I believe that is true. The 430 (non-NAV) is only an option on the Sport (and Sport derivatives).

I got a couple hundred more off on my 2016 order by giving an Affiliates number. I was already under the 1% it was supposed to get me, but they "honored" it by taking some more off They looked at it briefly and said "ok". Same with the "golden ticket".
