I would agree, but feel you might stand a better chance begging for Velvet Red Pearlcoat.
You are 100 % correct as a retired dealer I can tell you that at least for Volvo colors are done 5 years in advance, they are tested in every possible climate from extreme heat to extreme cold and all sorts of weather conditions before they are approved.

Anybody ever go aftermarket custom katzkin leather? On their site it seems tan leather for both rows would be $2400. I see some black and black/red options elsewhere for way less. I'd prefer a lighter color leather than black on our new HRR... come on, top off and black leather? Are you kidding me?

Sheesh a guy can dream!!!

And I would argue there are signs of both depression and possibly manic depression. Here comes purple! No it doesn't. Yes it does.

Is the freedom the only one that will have a tan top? specifically looking for tan hardtop with saddle leather on either Sahara or Rubicon

I'm not above begging Walt... I'd be on my knees in no time, just don't think it would help.

Great... we've got depressed monkeys throwing rotten bananas at a color chart... not good. My only hope is when Tank tanks in October it's replaced by something a bit more kick ass than what we're seeing right now.

I don't know what will be offered.

Getting a black hard top custom painted to match the interior could be the best option...that shouldn't be more than a few hundred dollars. Hmmm... Now you got me thinking about a tan hard top.

Amen. There are three versions of black available this year, white blue and red plus a handful of other luke warm colors. Coming from past years where Amp'd and sunset orange, the trend is not looking good. I would be worried that by the 2017 model year all that is left is the Henry Ford option and that's it.

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Just an FYI on the Mojave Sand option. I tried to order a 2016 Rubicon earlier today and while I could have ordered a 2016, the Mojave Sand option was unavailable. While the code guide didn't suggest a time line for the Sand option, like Hyper green, graphite and Rhino, it was restricted. I have to imagine a possible date for it's availability is 10/26 like graphite metallic but I have no information to confirm that. At least I hope it's not December like for Rhino or next spring like the Hyper Green option. I also didn't have Tank as an option but that may be because there is no ordering left for the Sept time frame.

YMMV.
