Congrats WillyWheeler and welcome to Team Rhino! Looks like a pretty cool color for a Jeep. A little dark in certain lighting, but not too dark in general if you know what I mean.

From the one I saw in person it DOES NOT look Dark Turquoise/Greenish Blue like the pic someone posted on the forum last week coming down the assembly line with red seats.

Rhino in that lighting does not look good to me so it made me a little nervous, but I keep looking at the other pics I've seen on the web that look more Blueish Gray to help reinforce that I made the right choice ; )

Your Jeep will be built very quickly it seems based on my order and others listed on MOTS over the past 3 weeks.

Congrats Mike.s! Based on recent orders listed in MOTS, your new Jeep will be built and on its way probably within 3-4 weeks.

Rhino is just an all around weird color, not in a bad way, but just weird. The only problem I have with it is that I really don't know what color it is most of the time and it seems that it only looks good to me depending on the light and where I am standing. Check out the pic I took with two rhinos side by side. The picture does not do total justice because in person the two Jeeps look totally different, I mean you would think they were two different colors.

Trust me I know. It's sort of a weird color. I'm Type A and very OCD about how stuff looks and it took me some time and consideration to become "fairly" sure about it. It's a little dark for what I was really looking for, but close enough I just said "Screw it. I like it enough to roll the dice. If I'm disappointed I can always paint it."

Generally, it looks really good in daylight with sunny skies, but it appears much darker when lighting is low. I think some accent color like the orange from the 75th Anniversary helps the color pop out more.

Literally hot off the press!! Koons just texted me the pics on their lot after this got off the truck. I'm OK with this. Funny, it almost looks like the Granite Crystal Metallic backcountry its parked next to, which is the color I originally wanted, but wasn't sure because GCM never appears much lighter under any light.

The skies look very overcast in these photos so in turn the Rhino chameleon color looks to be dark grey, but I'm OK with this.

At least I think that's GCM on the Backcountry to the left. The JK on the right is GCM for sure, but the Backcountry may actually be black. GCM will look black at times too. Crazy! Wouldn't that be funny if the JK on the right was Rhino too??

I went with black fender flares and hard top on the Rhino JKUR to create some separation/contrast and help the blue in Rhino stand out more. It does help on the one I studied in person before I ordered.

Funny though, because when I was looking at GCM I really wanted to get the matching body color hard top and fender flares, but with the Rhino I changed my tune because I wanted more separation of color. Felt it was too much Rhino.

LOL! ...Can you pick up on my OCD ; )

Ordered from factory on 6/11 delivered to dealer on 7/2 so 3 weeks. But due to work I can't make the trip from Chicago to Vienna, VA (group buy 8% below invoice from Koons Dealership) to go get it for another week or so.

Oh well. What can you do. I don't want to ship it. Quotes from trucking companies range from $600 - $900 to ship it to me. Rather use that money towards my first few mods.

re: 2016 Wrangler JK Waiting Room

I just lucked out and got a $500.00 cash bonus (a.k.a., $500 Golden Ticket) today in the mail.

The timing on this couldn't be better as my JKUR was just delivered on Sat and I'll be picking it up next week.

I've been trying for one of these over the last year. Subscribed to email updates and requested product literature on several Jeep and Dodge vehicles as others recommended on JeepGarage forums.

Not sure if it helped, but last time I filled out the form a couple weeks ago for the Jeep Wrangler I told them I was looking to buy within the next month so maybe that did the trick. Who knows.

Good luck to any others that are trying!
