Well I got crappy news from my dealer just now...
Turns out that even though my Jeep is here in San Diego (arrived 3.5 days ago - early Sunday morning), it may be awhile before it makes it the last 10 miles to the dealership.
About a month ago, for all vehicles coming to the San Diego area, Chrysler changed the unload location from Mira Loma (in LA) to San Diego; which, in theory, would be a good thing but apparently the SD railyard is EXTREMELY slow in unloading vehicles.
My salesman said that the vehicles that arrived today on the delivery truck had been sitting at the railyard for over 2 weeks.
Also, he said that the railyard does not allow the dealership to go pick up vehicles with their own truck (Will Call), and that I'd just have to wait for the regular auto carrier.
So it's very likely to take longer to go the last 10 miles than the first 2300 miles. It only took 12 days to get here from Toledo.
