Check your copy of the paperwork. Thought I ordered black leather as well until someone asked me what color leather I choose. Checked the paperwork and it said saddle.
Went back to the dealer and they changed the order to black. The brown/saddle looks awesome but it has to be matched against the correct exterior color.

Planned on ordering my Sahara in extreme purple. Then I seen a couple of different vehicles in a very similar color. Just to much of a good thing. It might work on a Jeep with black fender flares and a black top.
Went with firecracker red instead.

It's funny you said this because I was actually talking to a salesman about the '16 purple back country. I sent him specs of what I'd like in one if he could find one because I wasn't having any luck at all unless it was on the west coast. He literally told me, " we will just order you one" I said they quit taking orders for them in July. He then told me that whoever I talked to must've told me that because they wanted to sell an on lot jeep.... Nope I talked to Jeep. They told me they aren't taking orders for any 16's.. Period. I could not believe he didn't know that. Blew my mind.
my dealer had a 2 door purple back country the other day

I figure here is as good as any other thread to ask, but where do y'all get the super cool black wheels and tires for jeeps? Lift kits too and so on... Is there a special jeep wheel/ tire website that has all of that? Can ya get a whole lift kit which includes wheels and tires with it in a combo price?
I guess you aren't all that very familiar with the Wrangler.
You're partially right, Walt. I've yet to order one, but drove my first Jeep in 1966 & many others after that (served 26 years in the military). Of course the Wrangler didn't come out until mid 80's & I retired in 1992. But, as said earlier, I've yet to order one so...

The vehicle is not even officially announced yet. I see no harm no foul on FCA's part. We are just trading info here to get a jump.
That's a good point. I'm over my rant now and back on my meds.

So I see that Edmunds now has a $0 option listed called "Oversized Spare Tire Carrier" in addition to the "swing gate reinforcement" option.

I was not aware of the oversized spare tire carrier option when I placed my order and only told my dealer to add the swing gate reinforcement.

Does the "Oversized Spare Tire Carrier option automatically come with the swing gate reinforcement option?

Worried my order did not go through correctly.

Can someone please confirm whether or not the 2 came bundled together??

Do I need to try and change my order?

I can't answer that. But why not just get a aftermarket spare tire carrier? These are usually half the price what mopar charges and most of the time better. Or just call your sales guy. They can usually change the order within a few days of placing it.

Yeah, Cosmos Blue was awesome. My favorite JK color for sure.

I'm also interested to know what the swing gate reinforcement/oversized tire carrier option is. I'm assuming it is a similar concept to the Teraflex hinge? Does it include the option to add accessory mounts?

That maybe true for some people. But the mopar part installed at factory or at dealer before delivery is fully warranted part of the vehicle. It is also insured for damage by your car insurance company without being specified, and perhaps upcharged on policy. The person might be leasing as well which may forbid such non facotry mods and cost you more at end of lease.
