Thanks Yoodie, I'm new here and would not have known about the pictures being recycled. Unless I've missed it, we still have not seen acid yellow yet have we?

Nothing yet Bubba... that's the one color we haven't even gotten a hint of yet.

That's a chop out of the 9/1 Press Release, which lists all the planned/announced colors for this model year. That, by itself, doesn't mean they can all be ordered starting on 9/1. Remember, unlike all the other models, they play Musical Chairs with paint colors through out the model year for the Wrangler.

So the order banks are closed at the moment, but does that mean when they open again the Chief blue will be available to order? I'm curious to see one in person before I order, and was under the impression we wouldn't see any until the Spring.

Milous, Walt... with the Winter, Big Bear and Chief special editions coming up, when should we start to see some specifics on these?

I ended up with the Granite Crystal Metallic and Saddle seats with soft top. I think it will have a unique look to it.

But I started my build and price research in May and first built a Sport in Hypergreen with half doors with black wheels. Later I saw the 75th Anniversary look and liked it but still played around with building a Willys Wheeler in Firecracker Red with half doors when I was at the dealer to order the 2017. So, I've been from one extreme to the other. Even considered waiting for Gobi to become available and even Chief which reminds me of Maxi Blue which was the color of my 1974 Gremlin X that I purchased new but did not have built. There were lots of cool Jeeps on the lot in 1974 from what I remember along with all the Gremlins and Hornets.

Forgot to mention to everyone who cares about the Jeep website. I checked with FCA customer assist when I checked on the build of my Jeep regarding when the website would be updated for 2017 Jeeps and was told that it wouldn't be updated until new 2017 Jeeps began to arrive at dealerships in October. The key feature of the "Build & Price" is to show similar available vehicles available at your local dealer and that won't start happening until October. Makes sense...

re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

I was just browsing TruckYeah (TruckYeah.jalopnik.com) and they are quoting this thread as a source on details regarding the new headlights. Looks like the rest of the Internet is figuring out where to go when you want the best info. I usually don't read other jeep sites because their breaking news is always stuff we have known about here for a long time!

Granite with the 75th bumpers and wheels... Saddle interior? Sounds pretty nice.... great combination.
An AMC lot in 74? I think I'd have been looking for a leftover AMX lol.
