Not true. No 2017 retail models have been built yet. Production launch is 9/19. A few could roll off the line during the week prior.

Truthfully, I've never had to. My Jeeps have always been under warranty because I flip them every 2-3 years. So the last update was taken care of during a recall visit.

But, if necessary, you just go to the connect site and plug in your VIN.

Chrysler told me today that I have an ETA of 9/26. I think she may have meant build date because she went on to say that it should arrive at the dealer 2-3 weeks after that.

I do not. I was not even aware of the 430N sending data to the EVIC. I had a 430n in our Town and Country (which did send the data to the dash display), but I hated that radio. The bluetooth was clunky and the interface was meh at best. Now maybe they have updated it since 2012, but I still don't think its anywhere near worth $1200. But that is just my $0.02

Cool thanks. The nav is less of a issue for me because I am a Waze guy. I like the extra situational awareness it gives me. Car Play would be nice along with retaining the factory buttons on the wheel. Always good and varied info here.

Awesome, we love it. Jeep actually sent me an e mail this morning saying Happy Birthday, as our jeep was built 1 year ago today. Sent a 20% off coupon for gear and accessories as well.

Good luck with your hunt! Rember what walt says, if you see somthing you like grab it as it may not be there tomorrow. LOL

Almost waited last year to see rhino and hypergreen. Glad i didnt as the black bear was long gone by then.

Though, it would not surprise me that the 2017 Rubicon based special edition, will carry a price tag like the 2016 Rubicon based special edition; $60K+.

If anyone is waiting, expecting a Rubicon based special edition to come with a price in the $20K's, you're in for a shock.
