re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

I just noticed that 2017 white Saharas get silver bumper appliqués again, instead of body color like the 2016. Seems white is the only color with the silver, though.

The listed items of the Cold Weather Group that included power windows, power locks, keyless entry, security alarm, and the auto-dimming mirror are for the Cold Weather Group that was originally going to be offered on the base Sport model. This was what I originally planned to order. However, that option for the Sport was scrubbed and the Cold Weather Group is only available on the Sport S trim and up.

The Sport S already has those items as standard. Thus, the Cold Weather Group "only" ads seventeen inch wheels, thirty-one inch BF Goodrich All-Terrain TA/KO2 tires, heated front seats (both driver and passenger), heated outside mirrors, and an engine block heater. On automatic transmission models, it also ads remote start from the key fob. It's still worth it in my opinion, as those tires retail for $201 each and the base ones are terrible for the terrain where I'll be driving it.
I was under the impression Sport S did not have power windows and locks standard.

JK Sport S has power convenience optional, JKU Sport S has power convenience standard.

You mention "Saharas", as in plural. Just wondering if you have seen other white Saharas with silver appliqués too? Trying to rule out an assembly mistake.

I searched cars.com for all white 2017 Saharas nationally and noticed all with photos had the silver appliqués. Personally, I prefer the silver over the body color on most color choices.

AA,
Please tell me that also means 10 hours of transportation work, too! Even if it isn't true. My Rubi has been sitting there for almost a week. 8 hours away from the dealership by highway. I'm running out of hair to pull out.

If it helps, I ordered 8/15, went D1 8/30 with an estimated ship date of 9/30, was built 10/8......

As far as I can tell the trucks run around the clock. I'm here all night and on holidays. They are always shipping.

re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

New Member here, about to order my very first Jeep and super excited about it!

I made sure to read ALL the threads on here over the past month, to try and stay up to date with all the new options, and this thread has been an amazing source of information, so thank you all for all the time you had put into posting updates and answers on here.

I have most of my order sorted out (auto, 4.1 gearing, blk hardtop, tow package, side airbags), but am having some hard time understanding the MOPAR AMARETTO LEATHER & PREMIUM SOUND option.

I know it sounds like a dumb question, but when I first choose the "Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats" and then click on the "MOPAR AMARETTO..." option in the Packages page, I get the following notice, which makes me doubt if the seats are actually leather

You have selected Amaretto Leather & Premium Sound by Mopar® which requires some changes to your configuration.
The ADDITION of:
Cloth Seats with Adjustable Head Restraints
Black Interior Color
The REMOVAL of:
Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats
Black / Dark Saddle Interior Colors

on top of that, when you click the detail button on the build page, it says:

Alpine® Premium 9-Speakers w/All Weather Subwoofer
The nine-speaker Alpine Premium Sound System..... located in the overhead sound bar. Alpine is known for offering outstanding tonal balance and definition.
Heated Front Seats

And nothing about leather seats....

Now, assuming it does come with leather seats, here are my questions-
Does it actually include the McKinley seats?
Are those the same seats as offered under the Black / Dark Saddle Interior Colors Leather-Trimmed Bucket Seats ?
Does this effect the actual color of the bezels so they match the seats?
Basically is it going to look like the image below??

Thanks a million!!! can't wait to figure everything out so I can put my order in. been riding dirtbike for years and thought it's about time I start taking the wife and kids with me to those amazing places I rode thru and share the views :-)
