Sounds like it, maybe a more dressed up version of it.

Time will tell, but as someone with a Hard Rock on the way I am dying to know what the Recon will look like

The black grille with granite rings is what gave me a bit of pause. I don't like the contrasting rings on the Sahara and the black grille okay on some colors.
I agree re the trim rings... hearing that was a red flag for me. I definitely prefer a plain grill... the rings change the look of the front end entirely imo. Bling where bling is not needed. As usual in the world of Jeeps... I guess we won't really know how it all looks until we see it.

Enough said.

Granite with the bronze works... they blend into each other nicely without looking blingy like the dreaded black & gold Dragon. (thanks Walt lol) I can also see why they use the inserts on the Sahara... kind of an upscale thing. I just don't think every special edition needs them especially if they really contrast with the paint... hmmm, chances are Chief will have them also? Uh oh.

Does anyone know when you will have the option of building the 2017 Wrangler online? The only option now is 2016.

You can unofficially get the 2017 build page by changing "2016" to "2017" in the URL.
