re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Thunderjet,
The group will have a meet and greet Monday at 6pm at Double Dogs in west Knoxville. Will be about a 55 mile drive from Crossville which is about the distance I will be driving. All types vehicles are welcome, I have a racking horse and a 99 Ford pickup. I'll plan on leaving the horse at home and driving the pickup! 🐴😄😄

Which Koons are you talking about? I'm scouting whether or not to pull the trigger on a 2016 while I still can or wait for a 2017...since there is still no damn orange-family color it makes less of a difference to me now which year.

Thunder jet
According to Koons forum page, they only give 5% off invoice on Hard Rocks and have a $599 processing fee. The price I got at Beamans actually would be a savings of just under $200 plus tax and tag.

Would like an orange one myself. It is the Koons in Northern Va. Read the following message to Thunderjet following your message. Both Koons and Beamans have the best prices I have found, just a matter of distance. Beamans is in Murfreesboro, Tn.

Milous, like a Ninja, periodically drops some nuggets in post one. For example these gems. Winter Edition and I noticed the color listing now says "Initial" exterior colors which I don't think it always did.

I could be wrong on that one but not sure.

Cool stuff. For those new to the info game periodically check post one. He doesn't always announce his changes which I like. Makes it fun. Lol

Agreed Yoodie! Love following this thread. Although, I believe it said "initial" ever since Milous added the exterior colors to post one. Which brings me to believe that they've planned for other colors to pop up throughout the year?!

I'll have to start checking page one more often Yoodie...
So we're getting the Big Bear Edition the "C " Special Edition and a Winter Edition? Cool by me... just more to choose from.
My money is on "C" being the Chief Edition... hopefully they stay true to the concept vehicle... White top, retro mag wheels, white interior and that awesome blue color.

I have rolled the dice on Hypergreen making it to the 2017s. I suspect I will be disappointed, but still holding out hope since I don't see it included in the "Discontinued" list yet.

And thanks for the heads up on Beamans! Much closer than Koons's (I'm in AL), but I will check both. Kids want to see DC anyway.

re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

You are welcome. When I order the l2017 Rubicon HR I am going to reach out to both Beamans and Koons. I would like to say thank you to Jeep Garage and to Milous and Scott as well as the many people that participate on this forum. What a world this would be if everyone was this way. I am going to subscribe as a Lifetime Member to support the forum but having problems getting this iPad and the premium page to cooperate.

Waiting to here what these two should look like as well. Might as well throw acid yellow in the mix. Yellows typically come in three shades. An orangey yellow like a lot of Hummer have been over the years and won't interest me. A very bright, almost faded yellow like the Zinc color Ford had for their mustangs in 2003. Then you have all the rest that are more or less a bright, saturated yellow similar to Detonator and Baja. I wouldn't mind it one bit if Acid was a touch less saturated than Baja but not to the extent of looking bleached like Zinc did.
