After seeing the 17s LEDs at night, I'm thoroughly impressed. The light is a crisp white with just a slight hint of blue at the cutoff. I'd guess they are just over 5000k.
If you're ordering a 17, you'll want to upgrade to the LED headlights. But, I feel that proper headlights should be the first upgrade to any wrangler.
Read this, trust your opinion, got the itch, installed JW Speakers on the Rubi X this weekend, wife wants to know who to blame, I might hide if I were you
I never got the hate for the stock lights until I installed these and realized how inadequate the stock lights were. Also if you opt for this option on a dark color jeep your first mod has to be repainting the chrome retaining ring. It stuck out so bad I couldn't even take it for a test drive without pulling the grill and lights back out so I could flat black the retaining ring.
Real question that applies to the 2017... are the factory leds going to be the new model JW(and then rebranded mopar) that come with the half halo or are they going to be the old design JW(rebranded mopar that you can currently buy for $675). Going to be interesting to see what the option price is as well seeing you can the new JW's for $475 a pair right now.
