re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

Great to see this 2017 information page up. After reading through everyone's posts it's good to know I'm not the only one who feels let down with 2016s color choices. Black, White, Rhino, Granite, Billet, Mojave.... they just don't do it for me. We need some fun colors. Hydro and Firecracker were the only tempting colors. Sarge is only available on the 75th and Xtreme Purple only on one special edition. Hyper? Cool but, nope.
So... looks like it's time to sit back and see what 2017 has to offer. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I was ready to pull the trigger for a new jeep, but with the lack of good colors and only seeing mostly black, silver and white Jeeps on the dealer lots I will have to say this was a horrible year for Jeep Wrangler, at least from my perspective. Thumbs up for 2017, as it should be better!

That's how 2014 was. A monochromatic palette of colors. That is the ONLY reason I ordered Flame Red--it was the only color other than Hydro Blue that was NOT a derivertive of Black or White! Of course, if I had waited until 2015, I could have had Orange or Yellow.

I liked Hydro Blue enough to order it, but did you forget about Copperhead maybe?

*That* is what I'm crossing my fingers for...Copperhead is probably my all-time favorite.

I was teetering between Hydro Blue and Copperhead, but then Copperhead ordering was shut down making my choice easier. The dealer I went to had both colors parked next to each other. I liked Hydro Blue better overall, but in the sun and shined up, Copperhead was devastating!

Amp'd was a sharp 2014 color also.

But if we're talking colors... I'd have no problem seeing Inca Gold make a comeback.

In the case of Amp'd I'd say the color chip made it look like grabber orange; which is a good thing. But in person it was much more of a sickly gold color. After seeing such a big difference between the chip like you posted and the actual color in person, I'll never order a Jeep color sight unseen.

Agree 100%... a good example of that is this year's Rhino. I had high hopes for it, especially with how it looked on Jeeps build site. After seeing it in person I was glad I didn't pull the trigger on it sight unseen. Definitely cool for some but too dark for me.
The 2017 colors choices can't come out soon enough for me. If none of those pan out I'll try my best to find a Hydro Blue or Firecracker Red Rubicon JK on a dealers lot later this year. Even those seem to be far and few between though... most dealers here have nothing but lines of Black, Silver, Granite, Rhino and White JKs and JKUs.

Same out here. It is so rare to find COLOR on dealer lots. I can't wait for the new colors either. Still hoping for an Anvil-like miracle with XP. Or even better...bring back deep amethyst pearl.

Unless it's in writing that the deposit is 100% refundable. Have any of you requested that, and if you did what was the dealer's response?
