It glows. I saw one in the wild today. It burned my retinas, but in the most fantastic way possible. I really like HG.

Hopefully HyperGreen gets a brief appearance for 2016...had hopes Gobi would be dark brown but maybe it is just part of the "C" edition people are speculating about....if so the "C" stands for C ardboard or C amel litter... one hump or two?

re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

[Sorry in advance if this isn't the right place for this - I can delete after - but I need your HELP ASAP otherwise I will miss out on this deal]

HELP please: I have been trying to decide on buying a new '16 JKU vs. waiting for the new '17 JKUs for a little while. I am looking not looking for the power 24S package - just the 24C, an automatic transmission, and the Sunrider premium soft top. A local dealer just told me they have a new '16 JKU in Rhino (which I'm good with) with automatic and the premium top (and will also include connectivity and Sirius) and will sell it for 28,050 ($3500 off MSRP - 89%). Even though I don't really care about connectivity or Sirius - if the price of those were removed it would still be 92% of MSRP (but with that stuff added in for free).

It's an end of the month sale and I'm sure it's partially motivated by the fact the order banks for the '17s opens on August 11 (according to Milous over at Jeep Garage).

Should I do it or should I wait until the '17s? What will I be missing on the '17s vs the '16s that I might regret?? I need to make a decision in the next hour because I am going out of town tomorrow for a week and they are only offering the sale until end of August.

Thank you in advance!!

IMHO, your buckshot approach with multiple duplicate postings, isn't the quite the best. It makes us having to post multiple copies of our replies.

Repeating what I replied to your other post...

Ordering banks open on Aug 11, but it could easily be at least two months, until you see it. Can you wait two and a half months?

Personally, I would never buy something like a car, with a ticking clock counting down a one hour deadline.

BTW, beyond color changes, the 17's are getting the factory LED headlights (opt on Sport, std on Saharas and Rubicons). Is that something that would be important to you?

Before I did anything I would contact koons to see what kind of price they have but I agree I wouldn't buy a jeep in a 1 hour timeframe

What model you looking at? Jk or jku sport?

Sounds to me like you're trying to talk yourself into this deal. For that money I'd want a jeep I'm crazy about... not something I'm just "good with."
Good advice from the guys above too.
Good luck dude.
