Maybe something along these lines. A somewhat muted yellow.

Hmmm actually that's not too bad... faded yellow, different.
Would look sharp with black top and fenders.

That color name(Acid Yellow)can cover quite a broad spectrum. So until we see the actual chip or Jeep, it's speculation city.

If this is similar to the non - metallic Pale Yellow that Chevy used on Camaros, Corvettes and others in the sixties, this could be sweet. Not interested lf it's pearl or metallic.

I had a 71 Chevy truck in a color called Grapefruit Yellow. I believe its along the same lines that you are referencing. A washed out yellow.

Welp, I guess I need to get a plan B in case no Hypergreen (), because I will order Aug 11 or as soon as the order banks open. I don't think I am man enough to order purple, so that leads me to Gobi.

Anyone looked at swatches of Gobi next to Mojave Sand? Is Gobi just a little darker?

I remember in High School going to the Jeep dealer and getting a brochure and lusting after that yellow Jeep Wrangler Islander. This is right when they phased out the old dinosaur carbureted 4.2 six for the 4.0 straight six. That latter engine served Jeep well for years. The former put out a pathetic 112 hp. I just checked out a Ducati 821 Monster that puts out 113 hp from an 800cc twin and a US automaker could only get 112 hp out of 4.2 liters and six cylinders? The 80's through early 90's was a pathetic time for US Automaker. Couldn't get an OHC let alone a DOHC if your life depended on it.

The Pentastar may not be everyone's favorite but what a massive leap in performance it represents.

Today's Dodge Dart or Ford Focus would give a 1975 Chevrolet Camaro or Corvette all It could handle and then some, at least on the drag strip.
Chevette?... Not so much.
