Hiked it Bob? I'm impressed.
When you're at the summit it really feels like you're on top of the world. The cog railway looks like it'd be fun too.

The first time i hiked it, as i neared the top, the trail started running along side the railroad tracks. The train then came by me and i was engulfed in coal soot and smoke. It kinda put a damper on my feeling of accomplishment and in tune with nature. LOL

I plan to order a 2017 as soon as they allow orders. Should I assume the black bear editition will not be available? (I.e they ended with the 2016 model year)

Spent June riding an ADV bike from Washington State to Alaska and back.

Alaska's may be biggest, when . . . cough . . . the sun . . . is actually . . . cough cough . . . out and you can see them.

Great trip but tons of rain and clouds. You can see the thread on ADV Rider if you want.

re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

We lived in Eagle River for about 30 years. Alaska sure gave us some great memories with moose, sheep, black tail, caribou, brown and black bear hunting, etc. And some great fishing.
But old bones need to feel the warmth of the sun during the winter. As great as Alaska was we don't miss it, especially the high, and I mean high, cost of living.
