This is the year for me... I'm taking the color choices seriously.
Jazz blue is available on the 2016 Challenger
So if they use it they would probably change the name.

Agree Bob... I was surprised to see though that Rhino is called Rhino on the Fiats also... if that makes sense lol.

Anyway, thanks in advance...and thanks for all of the info you guys provide on this forum!

As far as what date the initial colors are first announced I'm trying to remember that myself... any idea Walt? Late July possibly?

A Jeeper got a picture of a Canadian brochure on 6/19 of last year:

Milous announced Tank's comeback and Rhino's introduction on 7/2 -- though we didn't officially see Rhino for quite a while.

Xtreme Purple was announced in the fall, with Sarge shortly after in early winter. Again, it took a while before we actually saw Sarge.

Something like that.

That looks pretty similar to Honda's Obsidian Blue Pearl (we have that on our Odyssey). I'd be quite happy if that came on a 2017 JKU.

I was hoping for something a bit closer to Cosmos Blue... maybe even lighter.

That very thing was rumored back on page 3 of this thread. Although they're totally different shades of blue, either one would go straight to the top of my list of colors. The wait has begun!

Cosmos would be cool. I still think they should keep a few bright, primary colors in the loop. Offer Baja Yellow, Crush, Dozer, Gecko, Cosmos and yes, even Rock Lobster. And if you could get a Jeep dealer to stock those colors it would shock people into buying them. Imagine the chaotic scene if people drove by a car dealer and saw colors other than black, white, silver and gray.

The nice lady on the GPS said, turn right NOW! She sounded so much like my mother, I just had to listen.
