Lol... ain't that the truth!
Plus there's the mystery "C" special edition coming up in the spring, not to mention the Big Bear and Winter Edition... could be that one of these new colors is reserved for one of those.
They don't make it easy that's for sure.

It will be interesting if they keep the base prices stable but skyrocket the options prices again. Curious about the price of the Willys package, air conditioning and the automatic transmission on the two door. Can someone chime in when they see the actual prices?

I have no idea when the new colors will start running, but I will give a heads up. Normally they run a few test cars a month or so in advance of their release.
That's where the name originated from. Been a Smiths/Morrissey fan since the late 80s/early 90s.

WW package is $4,300 (K) and $6,400 (W).
Stand-alone A/C is $1,295 (included on W package).
Auto trans is $1,400.

Sport, as A/C is included in Sport S.

re: 2017 Wrangler JK Information Thread

So for those who are ordering the 2017 models in the next week, when do you expect to actually be in the drivers seat? Launch date is Sept 19th, so would you get it 6-8 weeks after that date? Or 6-8 weeks after your order date?

The color options are pathetic. There are TWO "colors" available right now IMO. Hyper green or red. All the rest are either black or white or in between. That's so disappointing. Anyways, I'm trying to figure out if I should wait for the Chief. I like blues but I also need, I mean...want a new wrangler sooner rather than later.

Also, any advice about purchasing a Wrangler Unlimited in the last models year? Do you think it's value will drop more so after the JL comes out? If so, I may lease for 2 years until the JL.

I love this forum. I check it every day for Milous updates. And my wife is sick of hearing me talk about my future Wrangler

Wellllllll...you need to weigh what is more important...instant gratification or getting exactly what you want.

As far as maintaining value...Wranglers hold their value better than most because they are limited in supply. Low supply...high demand...market value is the result.

Owning a Wrangler or what is affectionately referred to as a Jeep Jeep, is more than owning a "car". It's a lifestyle...an attitude...a sense of belonging to a giant community that spans decades/generations.

Waiting for the JL is up to you. FCA isn't 100% confident or they wouldn't be running the JK for a while into the new model year. The JK was a cash cow for them. Hopefully they don't screw it up with the JL.

Either way, I'm sure the JK community will razz the JL community just like the TJs razz us. It's the circle of life.

Colors come, colors go, and never in any predictable way. All I can offer is that when you see one you like, grab it. If you wanted a blue, there was Hydro for an unusually long time, but its time is now over.

As mentioned, the colors are traditionally limited to the carry-over colors, for these early orders. We'll probably have a more clear picture come the official start of the 2017 model year for the Wrangler in September.
