Anyone have any idea what size wheels/tires you can carry both with AND without this option?

I will be ordering a Hard Rock. I may eventually want to go up in size a little, but nothing much.

Will I need to get the swing gate support option? And is it worth the money they are charging?

No dealer knew what the others pricing was but I was upfront and honest with each and each knew I was getting quotes from the others and knew I was not going to use their price to get a better price from the other dealer. I do not believe in getting a price for the purpose of trying to beat another dealer down on their price.
If they know we aren't playing games with them, they are less likely to play games and makes the buying experience much more pleasant. Awesome. Very helpful post.

The Jeep is a 2016, 10k miles, with high quality parts. It has no issues let alone death wobble.

I didn't mean to make this thread negative. It is filled with awesome information. Let's move on and be positive! I hope myself and others have luck this week!

Curious, why are you getting rid of a 2016 with $20k in mods? Are you swapping the mods?

Is this the support Jeep used on the Red Rock?

If true, and my memory is working, its the Mopar branded version of the TeraFlex 4838100.

I read through the changes for the 2017 Wrangler in the initial post. I noticed the LED headlights are one change. Does anyone know if a back-up camera is one of them for the 2017? I read that on another site, but it was an older article. Trying to figure out if its better to wait for 2017 or go with the 2016 model.

As noted in the first post too, LED headlights are std on the Sahara and Rubicon, optional on the Sports.

No rear camera. If you read someone claiming that, it would be by those who still think "new redesign" and "2017" are synonymous.

I'm running 34x10.5x17 KO2s on the stock carrier and they fit fine. I'm slightly concerned about the weight, but not enough to do something now. I will get the AEV tire carrier when I upgrade my bumpers in the next year or so. If I had been able to get the swing gate support option, I wouldn't bother getting the tire carrier. If I wanted to upgrade to 35s, I definitely would get a separate tire carrier.

Stopped at a dealership today... felt great to sit down with a salesman and start putting my jeep together... haven't done that since I bought my '12 JK Sport.
One question they couldn't answer though was regarding the new Cold Weather Group option. Does anyone know if the BFG ATs in this package come on any particular type of wheel... or do they just come on the regular 17" Aluminum Sport S wheels? Not a huge deal... but if they were mounted on Rubicon wheels that'd be cool by me.

Looks like just whatever wheels are standard for the Sport. No wheel mention in package. Requires AT would be my guess though.

I do it every year. I like Wranglers and building them up. It's a hobby. I trade them in with the mods. My local dealership factors in the mods on the trade in value. For some reason I still like to check out other dealer's offers. Some factor in the mods, some don't. Can't wait to get my hands on the next one!
