Please educate me about the LED's. How much extra are they? Do I want them? How expensive are they to replace and do they go out like regular headlights?

On Sports and Willys, $595 (as noted in the first post).

Yes.

No idea yet because we don't know exactly what type they are.

No, LED's don't burn out like incandescent bulbs.

My vote is get them. The standard headlights on a JK are pretty crappy. A lot of newer vehicles are coming with this style of headlight. Much brighter, better visibility at night. Just my 2 cents

My build/order sheet from the dealer where I purchased says 2016, VIN says 2017... thoughts?
Sounds like a great situation for you... you're getting a 2017 for the price of a 2016 and also because you ordered a Rubicon you will be getting LED lights which are new for MY17.

All I can tell you Bubba is get em. My 2012 Sport has the stock headlights... while not terrible they could definitely be better. Haven't decided 100% on which '17 Wrangler I'm going to be ordering... but I do know I want the LEDs.
The Wranglers finally getting LED headlights is way overdue imo.

SeaJay. you're hurting me man. I'm tight with a dollar and don't know if I can pull the trigger on $600 headlights. You have me thinking about them though.

Hey Bubba... you can always upgrade down the road if you decide you need them. Seems plenty of people like the stockers just fine. My eyes are just kinda shot these days... I've been welding on the side since I was a kid and the years haven't been kind. So any help with the night vision is appreciated, lol.

Just noticed you can build a 2017 Wrangler on Cars.com now. Shows MSRP and Invoice pricing.
There are actually two Cold Weather Group options offered... one with remote start for Autos and one without for Manuals. Unfortunately no mention of the BFG All- Terrain tires in either.
Milous... any idea if these tires will still be offered?

Playing around on Cars.com a bit more. Originally I was pricing a base Rubicon... but just noticed the Sport also shows a Cold Weather Group and this package does include BFG tires...

Also seems that Cold Weather Group couldn't be added to a Willys?

How else could I get heated seats in a Willys (or just not possible)? Otherwise, I'm stuck building out a Sport S. :/

Sounds like your dealer took good care of you. The sales lure doesn't sound too shady to me and I am pretty ethical. Someone sees a cool Jeep, likes it, then buys one of their own. I have seen dealers use a lot sketchier tactics when it comes to selling vehicles.

I am surprised they were so open with you.

He told me what they do. They use it to lure people in, the people like it, the salesmen are taught to say "Oh but didn't you want such and such option?" "We can get you a new Wrangler with that option and do a lift here." He said it's great moneymaker for them. Pretty smart actually lol.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been looking for pricing on the 2017's and this is the first I've seen. No surprise I guess that Cars.com would have it before Jeep updates their website.
