However, we saw Mojave Sand on a Rubicon in the '16 brochure, and that didn't actually become available for a long time; until February 1, 2016.

I have better luck guessing next week's Power Ball numbers, than attempting to guess what Jeep is doing with Wrangler colors.

Thanks. I'm not really talking about simply sooner than march. If typically at any given time nine are offered, on cars dot com I see seven including green.
Does this mean this fall they would have nine?

Just looking a the non white-grey-black colors there are just two right now. Red and green.

Now of course grays, and dark grays are popular in vehicles the past few years. I am coming from a gray (yeah it was called silver) in my previous vehicle.

My preference is for Gobi and I am trying to get an idea of if it would be one of nine, it would be one of to added shortly after launch, or instead over winter or early spring.

I know you guys dont have crystal balls, and official info is short supply, but if there is indeed nine at any given time that would mean in September orders two more than current orders allow, and a third in November when green is retired. No?

You're right about the limit of nine, but it is also true that for early orders (orders placed before the announced start date of the model year) that only the carry over colors are offered. For this carry over, that happens to be seven from 2016.

They should have nine colors come this fall, but what those nine are, is anyone's guess at this time. Honestly, Jeep doesn't follow any pattern. In other words, there is no way to predict with any certainty that Gobi or Chief will be those two additional colors.

They could bring back Tank and Mojave Sand, as a "curve ball". Or totally surprise us with two new shades of gray.

So I see there are two standard cloth seat colors for a Sahara. Black with grey stiching and black with saddle stiching. I ordered Granite. What color stiching will I get?

Did you order the black interior or the saddle interior?

When you get cloth seats, the seats themselves are always in black. The difference is only with the snitching color (grey or saddle) and the dash/console color (all black or black/saddle two tone).

Your exterior color doesn't factor in.

Either, depending on which seat color box was checked ("Black" or "Black/Dark Saddle").

Thanks Walt. I have missed the early order as I understand they are not even submitting any made for the past week. Just trying to get a rough idea as to the possibility of two more colors while I endless vacillate between jk-jku, sport with lsd/3.73, or WWW or base rubi -- or my latest variable, perhaps Special edition with rear lockers only being best for me! Heck if I wait long enough I can start vacillating on 2017 vs 2018!

I know I want a manual trans so that's something!

So I was reading the first post again...you can get a 75th in xtreme purple? That's going to be an interesting combo!

I'm starting to think we'd be better off with one of these when it comes to figuring out Jeep and their color availability....
