Pardon me if this has already been discussed, but with Hypergreen being discontinued in late November, will one of the "late availability" colors be immediately added at that point?

Tough to tell from the photos but I agree it may be a little on the light side. Now if it looks like Cosmos from about five years ago or like Ford's Grabber Blue it will be perfect; at least in my eyes.

This whole fiasco with the new colors for 2017, such as not showing what they actually look like, or what models they will be available on, makes no sense to me. Playing "I've got a secret", for no apparent reason, with people who are preparing to spend tens of thousands of dollars on your product is just stupid. I would expect more from someone running a lemonade stand.

Just the other day I said to my wife it must be amazing to just walk onto a car lot... pick out a vehicle because you like the color and that's that. No agonizing hour upon hour of comparing engines, gear ratios, transmissions and tire and rim combinations. For example, my brother in law picked up a new Ram pickup last year... I asked him what it had for a motor... he didn't know. Seriously, he didn't know. I honestly had no idea what to say lol.
When I was a kid my drug of choice was car and motorcycle magazines and dealership brochures... I'd read them over and over and over. Then the internet comes along and.....
My wife picks her cars based on the color and shape. I can't even begin to understand that method but it works for her.

I don't know anyone doing that, but it is very rational and serious to choose a color for the vehicle that you pick. Painting a new car is not as easy as painting a room. Literally everyone is considering aesthetics of a vehicle. Look at the howling that would happen if it had square headlights!
I would estimate that 75% of more of lifts, which just harm on road vehicle dynamics and handling are just for looks.

The vehicle is not even officially announced yet. I see no harm no foul on FCA's part. We are just trading info here to get a jump.

I guess you aren't all that very familiar with the Wrangler. This is the way it works, and has for years.

Jeep adds and drops color offerings, for the Wrangler, thru-out the model year. Sometimes we know which new ones are coming. Sometimes we don't (the surprise colors).

As has been suggested countless times, if you see a color you like, GRAB IT. Otherwise, you'll be waiting forever.

Found this over on Wrangler Forum posted by a fellow Jeeper. He was asking if this could be Gobi?
Sure doesn't look like Mojave, Dune or Copper Brown to me...

It's funny you said this because I was actually talking to a salesman about the '16 purple back country. I sent him specs of what I'd like in one if he could find one because I wasn't having any luck at all unless it was on the west coast. He literally told me, " we will just order you one" I said they quit taking orders for them in July. He then told me that whoever I talked to must've told me that because they wanted to sell an on lot jeep.... Nope I talked to Jeep. They told me they aren't taking orders for any 16's.. Period. I could not believe he didn't know that. Blew my mind.
