re: 2017 Wrangler JK Waiting Room

My Unlimited Rubicon is (finally) in KZ status.

While I wait for it to make the long journey to West Virginia, I've gotten to the point of making checklists for delivery and the first few hundred miles (don't laugh at me - half of you are doing the same thing).

When I take delivery, aside from making sure everything works, my options are installed, and checking for dents/dings/paint streaks/etc., what else should I be checking for? I'm thinking specifically of the miscellaneous doodads that tend to easily disappear like any straps, bags, or tools.

Thanks,
Mark

JKU RHR Granite
Auto
Vehicle Trackin System
Remote Start
3Piece Hard Top
Built last Wed, still JB status. Isn't it ironic that a vehicle with Electronic Tracking and Remote start has been JB status for a week!😄😄😄. Sure hasn't been a need for those options so far.

Picked up my 2017 Rubicon today!

New grill looks the same, not much difference at all
LED's are nice

Already have her in the garage on jack stands working on the install of the AEV 3.5" lift

Congrats. Curious how high your Jack stands are. I am going to install a leveling kit and wasn't sure how high I need. Obviously higher the better but I am going to need to borrow someone Jack and stands.

They don't need to be that high. You will have plenty of room with the tires off to lower the axle to the floor.

I thought a lot of people did it while keeping tires on? Would that only be for someone that has access to a stand under lift? I take it from your post that if you don't then you have to remove the tires to allow the axle to drop far enough.

This is my first Wrangler and will be the most extensive mod I have done to a car so still learning...
