Yesterday info did leak on the production dates for the 2018 JK and JL's:
The 2017 Wrangler JK will be built until September 30, 2017, before production of the 2018 model year JK begins on October 2nd.
Production of the 2018 model year Wrangler JL, which is set to debut sometime this year, will begin on November 13th, 2017 at the Toledo North section of the facility.
The plant will continue producing the Jeep Cherokee mid-size crossover until April 7th, 2017, when it will be shut down to retool for the Wrangler JL.
The final Wrangler JK will roll off the Toledo South production line on March 30th, 2018, at which point the line will close for 3-4 months in order to retool for the 2019 JT Jeep Wrangler pickup truck.
Production of the pickup should launch sometime in the summer of 2018.
