Looking to go to an AT tire on the JKU 10A. Looking at the Wrangler DuraTrac in 285 70 17. Those be ok on the 10A. Stock size is 265-70-17

That would put it to roughly a 33" tire if I remember right. If so, yeah, you can fit 33's on a stock JK, especially a Rubicon, without issue. 35's are even possible, but you'd need spacers and some trimming of the rear pinch seams, rock rails, and flat flares. For the 33's, you don't necessarily need them, but I'd recommend a set of 1.5" spacers to push the wheels out some. Will make it look better and won't cause any issues. Will further prevent any rubbing, too.

yeah...I was talking with Pat@fields here on the forums and he says some of the 10a guys are going to those in that size. I would NEVER put spacers on any vehicle...especially my wifes. So that's out. It would look tough though...I admit. From my understanding...the 10a has a slight lift over the rubicon? Maybe 1"?

The 10A has 0.5" more lift than the standard Rubicon.

Not really an issue running spacers. I have a buddy that's running spacers on his '09 Rubicon wit 17" Walker Evans beadlocks, 37" Trail Grapplers, and God knows what else and he's had zero issues. And he wheels Clayton, OK, Daisy, OK, Superlift in AR, a couple of local places here in North Texas...

Hey Scott,

You can get these 34" tires under there without spacers...

TOYO Open Country AT LT285/75R17 - DIA 33.90" SW 11.30"

NITTO Terra Grappler AT LT285/75R17 - DIA 33.86" SW 11.30"

Here's how they look...
