Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Hi guys,
I received my Wrangler and here are some pictures I took.

The 32” Tire & Wheel Group definitely add 5 to 6 cm ( ~2” ) to the height of the Jeep, I’m 5’7” and I really need that tubular step as I compare it to my previous 1999 TJ.

With this "Wheel Group" they give the ' 17" Polished Mineral Grey rims ' here in Canada. I wouldn't know why the market in different in the US or somewhere else.

I really like the color Tank, I verified the paint behind door hinges and it is properly done.

I did test it in mountain ranges around and I would recommend this to all Jeep!

… now I’m going back to play outside!

So it's really just a Rubicon wheel and tire package that we don't get here in the US

Hey Rick,

Congratulations! Your Jeep looks awesome...

A local Jeep dealer had a Tank Jeep on their lot last week and I went over to check it out. I absolutely love the color and that's what I plan on ordering.

Your wheels / tires look great. In the US, I think the wheels come in black instead of mineral gray- at least that's how this Wheel & Tire group is described in the brochure.. Either way, I plan on ordering it. I think it really enhances the look and it also includes the performance suspension.

What was the order code for this option?

Again, congrats on your new Jeep and thanks for all the useful info you've been providing.

Regards,
Yvon

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Thanks YGirard,
Yes for the Tire & Wheel Group that make it a bit higher and the 17” really make the Jeep more stable too, if I compare from my 1999 TJ regular 15" wheels.
It also adds the Sway bar controls.

For the order codes, don’t forget those might be just for Canada…
  • AAQ - 32” Tire Wheel Group
  • SDDP - Performance Suspension
  • TT7P - LT255/75R17 BSW Off Road Tires
  • TZGP - BF Goodrich Brand Tires
  • WFAP - 17x7.5 Polished Mineral Gray Whl
  • WLZC - All Aluminum Wheels

I also took the "DSA - Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle" because here in winter or off-road in the summer, it helps a lot to just keep going

Every time I use it, I’m on vacation!

Hey Rick how long did you have to wait for your Tank Sport S? Was it a factory order?

Just wondering since I'm still waiting for my Baja Yellow Sport S in Toronto...

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Not to hijack the thread BUT:
November 14, I'll be trading in my 2011 Sahara and about 4G's of extras.
Gotta start all over again, 'cuss dealership wanted IT ALL if he was going to go that high on the trade in.
New 285/70X17 Goodyear DuraTracs are already purchased and in the garage. Canadian Tire had a doozy of a deal, I couldn't pass up and Goodyear was offering a rebate on top.
New seat covers (Yellow/Black neopreme) and grill inserts are awaiting pickup.
Canadian dollar snagged a ledge today on its slide down the currency exchange ($0.88 US) today so I pulled the trigger (credit card actually, lol)
and bought a Smittybilt XRC M.O.D. bumper/winch/ light bar combo from
Quadratec's Christmas catalogue.
Rims and Magnaflow muffler still to go and I'm back to square one, well them and a weeks worth of installation but hey that's what winter's for.
My Dealership is predicting mid Jan for delivery (10 weeks) but an out of town one I price checked my proposed deal against was saying 6 weeks,
only time will tell I guess.

Hi Infinitix,
I ordered on the September 29 and the dealer received it on the 13 of November... Ruffly 7 weeks, I actually received it on the 14th.

And yes I ordered specifics options as you can read in previous messages.

After 2 weeks of testing, off-road driving... I wouldn't change it!

One thing that I remark in peoples: They find the Wrangler more attractive or interesting to come and look closely than a Lamborghini in the same parking lot!

I only get Jeep in my life, I'm close to 50 now and they all do the same thing, specially the kids!

Enjoy your new Wrangler man, no matter what other peoples say, you'll always have fun driving one; no other car can have the same statement... well, my statement!

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

for sure, I fell in love with Wranglers with my uncle's 3-speed auto TJ and wanted one ever since.

i was contemplating the 32'' wheel package but hesitated with the rims they come on; i like the traditional-looking stock aluminum a little more

your tank looks sick though congrats on it!
