32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Just picked up the 2015 Wrangler brochure from a local dealer and it lists this Package as an option for the Sport:
32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group - Includes performance suspension, BSW off-road tires, 17 inch black painted aluminum Moab wheel.
Have any of you seen or ordered this option? It doesn't come up in the build & price section of jeep.com. I was wondering what the wheels look like and also about the MSRP / Invoice price for this option

I'm new to the forum and just starting my research. I plan on placing an order in the Spring for my first Wrangler.

Thanks in advance for any information you can provide

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Hi YGirrard,
I had the same question too since I wanted the “Performance Suspension” included and that was the only way to get it from the dealer.

The salesperson told me the same thing as the website details, it just tell’s this:

ADDED OPTIONS
  • 32" TIRE & WHEEL GROUP
    PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION
    TIRES: LT255/75R17 BSW OFF ROAD
    WHEELS: 17" X 7.5" POLISHED MINERAL GREY
    BF GOODRICH BRAND TIRES

DELETED OPTIONS
  • NORMAL DUTY SUSPENSION

Even on his software screen explain it the same way: no details on what it is involve or what is remove or replaced; he couldn’t explain it too.

So I add it to my options list and bought it.

Now I’m waiting for the shipment… looking at what all other shipment list; I might get it in December…. hopefully this year!!

The reason I wanted a better suspension is that I live in Canada and I don’t have to tell you what kind of road, weather and beautiful hills we have…
A great place for a Wrangler; before & after work!

I should copyright that sentence and paint it on my Jeep!

Have a great one!

I believe this was talked about over in the 2015 Information thread.

Here is a pic from there...

This package is like "Willys" without track-lock, connectivity, dark tint windows, and decals.

How much did that option cost?

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Hi Bianchi,
only $400 Cdn, but we still don't know, beside the wheels & suspension, what other stuff is change, modify, added or replace...
Because they call it "32" TIRE & WHEEL GROUP" we understand there are some other stuff that changes but what?
They don't offer it to the regular Wrangler, it start at Wrangler Sport ....

As soon as I know, I'll write it here ... Or somebody else can do it too!!

PS: My tracking status changed to D1 Hoooho!! Estimated delivery: 11/18/2014

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Usually the "Performance Suspension" is just Rubicon springs and shocks. Definitely an upgrade, especially when paired with 32" tires instead of the 29" pizza cutters...

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

The odd thing about the above posts is that the pictured 2015 has black painted steel 16" wheels while the original poster was asking about a 17" wheel package, which, by description sounds closer to the black Moab wheel package offered for a a few weeks early in 2014, before the Willys was announced.

That could mean it comes with the Black painted Rubicon wheels from the Moab or it might come with black painted Moab wheels from the Sport/pre-2013 Rubicon

Thanks - I think you're right. The description in the brochure says: "17 inch black painted aluminum Moab wheel". Hoping Rick or anyone else who's ordered this option can post some pics of the wheels when they get their Wrangler.

Re: 32-Inch Tire & Wheel Group for 2015 Sport

Hi YGIRARD,
I have some updates details, but it is from the Jeep.ca not .com.
I’m not sure why it would be different… I couldn't find that option on the .Com website when you build your options.

For the "32" TIRE & WHEEL GROUP" I have the 17-Inch Polished Mineral Grey wheel that come with the Rubicon usually, again on the Canada Jeep side.

I attached the documents for 2015 Jeep:
  1. Wheels & Frabric Colors
  2. Exterior Paint Colors

for all Jeep 2015 models.

Hope that help.

Have a great one!

Thanks, Rick. Great stuff.

Interesting how the Jeep.ca build site is so much better than the .com site, which doesn't provide all the available options or colors, etc.
