5th TPMS on 2017 rubicon

Hi,
In case one has a tpms on the spare that's on the rear door
Will it cause miss reading of the other 4 tires?
I never tried it and i was curious whether should i put the fifth tpms on the spare tire also
In order to get pressure readings in case i'll use the spare (after pressure calibration in order to run lower pressures with procal)
Tnx. !
Rafi

I haven't had a problem with mine. It's came with mine when I bought it in 2013. Never had a problem. Now have over sized tires for the last few months now and still nothing wrong with it.

And if something happens to one or when you rotate your tires you won't have a sensor in the spare so then the light will be on when you put the spare on. I think it's a good idea and like I said above I never had a problem with it

Factory spares have the sensor in them. The sensors go into sleep mode unless the tire is spinning.

Chrysler actually uses a system where the vehicle will self identify which tire is where, as opposed to most other manuf. that you have to retrain the sensors every time you rotate tires.
