78' CJ7 T400 trans issue

Need a little help. I have a 78' CJ7 with a 304 V8 and a T400 Transmission (Quadra Trac) full time four wheel drive.

We rebuilt the Jeep from the ground up and looks great and runs well. However, it is spitting out Trans fluid from the Trans dip stick. Everything else is great and sounds great. it only happens when i go over 15 to 20 miles per hour. We can't seem to figure out why.

Anyone have any ideas on why and how to fix it?

Usuallg the dipstick will have a rubber seal on the mating surface is there one on yours? It basically acts like a seal

It does, but is a little loose. However, it's hard to believe it is just as simple as to replace it. Since so much Trans fluid spits out after its warmed up.

Make sure your vent line isn't plugged or kinked. That can cause your issue.
