88 YJ wiring help

My 88 YJ with the 258 and an automatic burnt this wire in two yesterday. It apparently has a dead ground. It only arks when the key switch is turned on. I was just driving along and the motor died and smoke was boiling out from under the hood. this is on the passenger side beside the batter mounted on the firewall. Can anyone tell me what it leads to? Ive tried to chase it down but without pulling all the wires out of the harness.. which looks good.. no mashed places or missing cover.. just trying to save myself some headache. Has anyone else had this problem that can shed some light on this for me? couldn't get the pic to upload so heres a link to another site I posted it on.. please take a look... Re: 88 YJ wiring help

just so everyone knows since I didn't get any replies.. in case somebody else has a similar issue... I fixed it today.. I took off the air cleaner and started pulling wires out of the wire harness inspecting. One wire was burned all the way back to that power block where the fuse link is. It went to the electric choke. It has somehow came loose and fell down on the intake and grounded out. It played hell on a few of the wires.. burned up the insulation. I went to the parts store..got some wire of the same size and color( incase I have to chase wires again =) ) tightened up the choke connection so that wont happen again.. used many zip ties to tie everything up alittle neater fired Betsy ( my jeep ) up and she purred like a kitten. Drove for a few miles up the road and back.. no smoke so far.. I think I solved it and got lucky enough to have not burned nothing up. shew...
