A little confused...

Im a former XJ guy and I've been out of jeeps for awhile... but didn't they switch to the 6-speed manual in the 05-06 TJ's? If so, why does the ad for this 06 say 5 spd? I thought maybe it was a typo, but they show a shifter pic and its clearly a 5 spd knob. Think the PO just changed the knob and the dealer doesn't know any better?

Re: A little confused...

I'm looking at a Wrangler as a work vehicle and thought I'd save money used, but dealers and private sellers are high in regards to price around my area anyway. I can get into a 2012 Sport 4x4 6spd for $22k or a used 2007 with 47,000 miles on it for $22,500. Gee, lemme think a minute about that. From what I found yeas they switched to a 6spd by 2006 so the ad is a typo or I call shennigans on the seller.
