It's gonna happen sooner or later and non metallic/pearl colors are much easier to match. I took my 5 day old Hydro in to get the door handle in right rear door fixed and the Jeep came back with a dent in the door. They attempted to "feather" the paint by painting the quarter along with the door but the door has a nice band of darker color now. They now are attempting to feather the front door as well. What a nightmare on a 5 day old Jeep for a door handle.
Grit,
Thank you for your post. I ended going for a totally different color. I went from Hydro Blue to Anvil and then finally ended up ordering Sunset Orange:slap fight:

I love anvil, but I wanted a fun color- a with a jeep you can do this. I just felt that anvil was too tame, and wanted go the polar opposite. I hope there will be no regrets with my decision.

I totally understand. I wanted a bright color too and had my heart set on ordering Sunset until the Honda got hit and I couldn't wait. I think you'll love Sunset.

I hope so! It's very hard to order without even seeing the color in person, but I went with my gut feeling.
By the way, the hydro blue is a beautiful color especially when you add black fenders and accents.

The answer to bright "fun" color, or functional military-esque color, is quite simple: get your wife a Jeep.

What great looking Jeeps!
I don't think my wife would ever entertain the idea of owning a Jeep. She is more of a Lexus plush luxurious kind of girl.

Great looking jeep. I just placed an order for a Tank JKU Sport but was torn between that and Anvil. Love both colors.
