I'm going with the JW Speaker Evolution J.....if I ever get my Jeep. Man, I hope there isn't a UAW strike.

Re: Any Advice for LED headlight replacements

When you hold the JW Speaker Evolutions in your hand, vs the KC, Trucklight, or Quadratec lights the construction quality makes it obvious JW Speaker is the only OEM supplier in the group and why Mopar will be selling these lights.

What does being an OEM supplier mean? It means they've had to put these lights through intensive durability testing for water resistance, vibration, temp extremes, voltage variations, lens scratch resistance and accelerated aging.

No "anti-flicker" harness is nice too.

The only downside is price, but they've already come down a bit from when I bought my sets a few months ago.

Re: Any Advice for LED headlight replacements

Just installed a set of KC LEDS headlights and they are amazing. No odd light patterns or dark spots. First pic is the lows with the $25 ebay led bulbs in the stock fogs and second pic if the high beams fogs off. Glad I got these.

There are several manufacturers that make plug and play adapter harnesses for the JW Speaker 6145 LED fogs. Check out this thread;

2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

I know this thread is for an install into a 2011~2012 Grand Cherokee WK2 but the fogs are the same as are the adapter harnesses.

How are they in bod weather, primarily snow and ice? I worry of the lack of heat won't help melt the build up of slush, snow and ice.

I haven't had any issues but I guess it would depend on how much snow you get. They've made a huge difference on my commute home in the dark though.

Re: Any Advice for LED headlight replacements

I installed these this past weekend and they make a huge difference.

Quadratec Stealth LED Headlights for 07-16 JeepĀ® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

I didn't realize just how bad, surprisingly bad, the stock headlights were until I installed these. I feel like I can see again.
